Marble bust of Charles II

Victoria and Albert Museum

I love museums. Love, love, love.

We had a view of this one gorgeous, historic-looking building from our hotel window. It looked like an old church or an official government building, but it wasn’t until we were right next to it that we finally found out what it was.

It was none other the Natural History Museum of London.

But we didn’t go that. Instead we went next door to the Victoria and Albert Museum.

(Fun fact from Wikipedia: this is the world’s largest museum of decorative arts and design, was founded in 1852 and named after Queen Victoria and Prince Albert).

Not as grand on the outside, but the inside was amazing. There were boatloads of stuff to see (and I mean LOADS), but I stopped taking pictures at some point and just started enjoying the view.

Did I mention I love museums? Love, love, love!
